Get involved
There are many ways to get involved in the work of the MNVP. Whatever your background or experience, there is a place for you here.

Ways to get involved
Join our welcoming network of parents, families and community members.
Help bring MNVP into community spaces, groups and conversations.
Add your voice to the work we do alongside families with neonatal and bereavement experience.
Support friends, family and community members to share their experiences.
Help us run engagement events, workshops and community pop-ups.
“After losing my baby, I wanted to help ensure affected families are heard and involved in improving services. The MNVP has given me opportunities to influence conversations that matter.”
“As a Black mother in Nottingham, I know representation matters. I wanted to help ensure more voices are heard and help improve outcomes for local families.”
“My neonatal experience inspired me to get involved so that future families benefit from lessons learned through lived experience.”
Reaching every community
We are particularly interested in hearing from communities whose voices are often missing from conversations about maternity and neonatal care.
If you work with any of these communities, we would love to hear from you.
Community visits
We are building relationships with community organisations, support groups and local leaders across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, particularly in communities experiencing inequalities in maternity care.
If your organisation would benefit from an MNVP listening visit, we would love to hear from you.
